The Nutcracker Workshop – 10th December 2017

Yesterday saw our first snowfall of the winter with three or four inches dropping on Bedfordshire throughout the morning.  Once we had got the logistical problems out of the way, we embraced the snow for it’s Christmassy feeling and launched in to our Nutcracker workshops with the children.

We had two workshops throughout the day for different age groups.  We read the story to the girls and taught short dances to smaller groups. The girls then got to put costumes on and have their hair and make-up done ready for a short performance to their families on the lit-up stage at Parkside Hall in Ampthill.

Well done to all the children who took part, and to the parents for making the effort to get them there.  Also, a big thank you to Miss Rebecca for her help and to Miss Anastasia who travelled from London to help out and perform for the girls and parents.
